I started to experiment with directing at Otterbein by directing small scenes with my classmates. Then I had the privilege of studying under Leonid Yefimovich Heifetz while getting my masters degree at GITIS. Even though I was part of the acting group, I studied along side the directing group and had all the same classes. I had plenty of chances to experiment with directing various scenes and got valuable feedback from my teachers.
My first professional production was La La Land the Musical at the American Theater in Moscow, Russia, 2022. Even though I see myself as an actress first, I’m excited to create new work and branch out professionally as a director.

Finished the online directing course “Режусыр”, taught by Nikita Betekhtin on 05.06.2023.
Nikita is an accomplished and knowledgable director and I gained a lot from his course. We both were taught by the same master at GITIS, so it was great to get back to the basics and strengthen my foundation as a director.
La La Land
La La Land the Musical with the American Theater in Moscow will be my directorial debut. The play, based on the movie of the same name, tells the love story of Mia and Sebastian—two artists trying to make their dreams come true in the City of Stars, Los Angelous.
When approached by Alexander Nash, our producer, to direct this project he said that he was specifically searching for a female director to tell the story from a “woman’s point of view”. Excited by this opportunity, I have decided that the message of our show will be about not giving up. Not giving up in terms of your career dreams, but also on your self and your romantic relationships.
La La Land the Musical premiered in August of 2022 in Moscow, Russia.
